Lucie knows the importance of family and how unique and complicated each relationship can be. This is why she is passionate about helping clients navigate the often frustrating landscape of family and immigration law and helping them to find the solution that is best in their particular case. Lucie works diligently with her clients to help them reach out-of-court solutions where possible. However, she is alive to the reality that sometimes court is the best way forward, or the only remaining resort. In those cases, Lucie works with her clients to achieve the best possible results in court. Lucie can also assist with residential conveyancing transactions and applications for a grant of administration.
Lucie graduated from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia and received the Beverley McLachlin Legal Access Award, which was awarded to students dedicated to areas of public interest or social justice law in British Columbia. Lucie articled at the Rise Women's Legal Centre ("Rise"), where she provided legal services to women with low incomes who were experiencing family violence.
In the early days of the pandemic, Lucie founded Linden Law to help those struggling through the legal system and our changing world with their legal matters.
Lucie is fluent in Czech, and understands Slovak and some Polish.
In her spare time, Lucie enjoys spending time with her family and exploring local nature walks with Oliver, her mischievous terrier.
